Investment Manager

Location: Guildford

A position has arisen for an experienced Investment Manager to provide wealth management services to private clients and financial advisers.

We are looking for a great Investment Manager who is naturally open, approachable and straightforward; who is focussed, with a commitment to clear and transparent communication; and who is able to engage well with people and develop warm client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the management of client portfolios. With or without a book of your own, you should be confident and credible conducting business development and sales, spotting opportunities with IFAs, solicitors and accountants.  Establishing new relationships is a key function in this role.

You will be a great team-player, have good technical skills to complement the existing team and a first-rate understanding of investment markets. You will need to achieve annual sales targets, as well as being committed to providing excellent client service.

You must be RDR compliant with a current SPS.  In addition, you are likely to already hold the CISI Masters in Wealth Management (or equivalent) or have completed the full CFA programme and gained Chartered status and have considerable and extensive experience working as an Investment Manager or Wealth Manager.

Working knowledge of: Taxation – personal, corporate & Trust; IHT; Trusts – legal structure is desirable.

Investment Assistant

Location: Guildford

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investment Assistant to join our Guildford office.

The role involves providing excellent administrative support to the wider Investment team, such as resolving general administration queries, collating/checking/producing review data, providing share price calculations and, along with dealing with probate matters, producing tax packs and maintaining the database.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced investment specialists and will be an integral part of the team.

The job holder may be educated to ‘A’ level standard along with English and Maths GCSE at grade 9-4 (A-C), or have proven experience in a role requiring similar levels of administration, attention to detail, numeracy and literacy.

The ideal candidate will be diligent, professional and straightforward in their approach, with a patient, friendly and helpful manner.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is also essential.
