David has a degree in Biochemistry from Cardiff University and a post-graduate qualification from City University Business School. He began his City career at Société Generale before taking up a role managing the portfolios of ultra-high net worth investors. David specialises in advising high net worth families, estates and institutions.

Interests: Outside of work, David enjoys sports of all kind, except badminton!

Michael has considerable private-client experience, having joined Thesis in 1978 following a career in stockbroking and private banking. He specialises in serving offshore and charity clients, with a special focus on fixed interest markets where he jointly manages the Optima Bond Fund. He also runs the Chichester office.

Interests: Michael’s interests include classic cars, historic buildings, painting & table tennis.

Ian trained and spent many years at Lloyds Private Banking and then at another solicitor investment manager before joining Thesis. He has wide experience of private client work and specialises in the more complex financial planning cases, charity and Trust work.

Interests: Away from the office Ian is kept busy by his growing family, and by his involvement with his local church and as a Governor at Bishop Luffa School. When he gets the chance to relax he likes walking, cycling, playing the piano (badly!) and listening to classical music.

James graduated with a degree in Financial Services and an MSc in Investment Analysis. He previously worked for Skandia Life Investment Research and Macquarie Investment Management in Australia. James is an associate member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals, a member of the Securities Institute and has achieved the highly respected CFA Charterholder status.

Interests: James’ interests include technical scuba diving in the UK and abroad, snowboarding and mountain biking.

Sam began her career heading up the PEP and ISA products at Thesis before moving into her current role. She has a broad role in advising on and administering investments held for many clients and particular expertise in the private office service for high net worth clients.

Interests: Outside of working life much of Samantha’s time is taken up with keeping her family on the straight and narrow, and she can often be found amongst the pva glue and double sided sticky tape, or in the kitchen rustling up something good to eat.
