IT Support Assistant

Location: Chichester
Due to some changes in our IT department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Assistant.
Job Description: Concentrating on 1st line support, this role will involve supporting Thesis’ IT infrastructure including desktops PCs, laptops, servers, printers, local area networks, wide area networks, internet connections and computerised telephone systems.
To apply for this role you will ideally have at least one year’s experience in an IT support role, together with familiarity of computerised telephone systems, preferably the latest ‘Astra’ system. You should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Office 2010 and an understanding of Microsoft LANs and WANs.
Having good grades in GCSE/’A’ Level Maths, Sciences or IT and/or relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
Customer Service is absolutely key in this role as is good attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
